Dan Kenny
Pastor
Dan has been part of Coast Bible since 2005 and has served in ministry since 2011. He became a follower of Jesus as a teenager, and since then has made his life aim to glorify God rather than himself.
Dan originally worked as a High School Teacher and then completed his Master of Divinity degree through SMBC. He is passionate about prayerfully ministering God’s word, life-on-life, over the long haul. This comes out as he preaches, teaches, reads the Bible with people, and equips members of the church to serve Jesus.
He is married to Skye and together they have one young daughter, Zoe. When he’s not working, Dan loves cooking, soccer, photography, board games, and most of all spending time with his family.
Dan’s days off are Friday and Saturday.
Andrew Linegar
Elder
Andrew joined Coast Bible church in 2016 and has served as a lay elder since 2019. He came to accept Jesus as Lord in his late 20’s and is so grateful for God’s grace in his life. He is passionate about the local church and the way God can transform lives through the power of His word.
Andrew is married to Lisa, and together they have three older children in Eva, Jacob, and Ruby who live at home with them. Andrew works full time in a secular career in Sydney and you will find him enjoying himself on a basketball court each week with Jacob, along with some sporadic jogging and cycling thrown in for good measure.
Deacons
The Deacons (or Ministry Support Team) oversee many of the practical necessities of church life, and lead by example in the way they wholeheartedly serve.
The current members of our MST are: Jeanette Harper, Nigel Wakeley, Christina Clark, Jenny Stuart, Joel Meyer and Ethan Dennis.
